The Parish Council like all other Parish Councils in the UK require there accounts to be audited. Gilberdyke Parish Accounts are audited yearly and are kept on record with the Parish Clerk a copy of the most recent audit is on this web site.
The Parish Council reviews the precept yearly for submission to the Councty Council. The County Council, after approval, will amend the council tax rates appropriately in the next tax year.
It is the intention of the Parish Council to maintain this web page for public viewing with the current Precept.
This is the second year that the precept has been placed onto the Gilberdyke Parish Council web site. The 2009 - 2010 data is present for comparison purposes. As can be seen from the data, a decrease has been made in the 2010 - 2011 precept which was agreed by all councillors to reflect the current economic climate. The 30.6% reduction to the previous year is significant even for a small parish such as ours. |
